With heavy hearts, we embark on to a new season in our life. For five months we have been chasing trout in southern Colorado. Two months of that was completely off grid. Tyler and I expanded our knowledge in this area and have grown into efficient anglers. We've stayed up and stared at the stars while we brewed the crazy dream we want and envision as our future.Though we would love to stay for fall, it's time to visit with family and focus on the upcoming hunting seasons.
We are more than half way through this extremely bizarre year. COVID-19 came in like a wrecking ball and dismantled our very delicate world. Everyone has in some way suffered. Being on the road we changed our plans drastically. We originally wanted to spend the end of our winter in California, and then spend our spring and summer in Idaho. Instead we stuck around southern Colorado the whole time and now it's time to go home and hug the necks of our loved ones. I've got to say, coming back in to society, after stepping away for several weeks, I feel so out of place. Like abnormal. Everyone has been living this new normal while we've been outdoors only living under God's rules.
As we spend time in Louisiana we won't be bombarding you with so many fishing stories. We would like to write more about our homeschool journey . I also plan on blogging more about our trailer and will review some of our favorite gadgets. A few other topics are on my mind as well.
I will try to continue posting every Wednesday and Sunday but bare with us if we aren't as consistent once school starts. Thank you for taking the time to read our blog.
Glad to see you all are doing well! (bigc)
